15 English 2.1 The relationship between employees Respectful working relationship a) The relationship to and between colleagues and su- periors is characterized by decency, fairness and integrity and such conduct shall be exemplified and promoted by superiors at all times. We shall always treat one another with mutual respect and dignity. b) Superiors shall create a positive work atmosphere and a professional working environment with clear objective performance standards. c) Team and results have a higher priority over individ- ual interests. d) Reliability: Agreements shall be kept and we can rely on one another. e) Aid and support shall be actively offered and pro- vided, regardless of who is officially competent or responsible. Open, active and honest dialogue Along with your superior you are responsible for ensur- ing that your dialogues are open and honest. In doing so, you are expected to trust and respect your superior. Treat your co-workers and employees as people and individuals and grant them the freedom they need to accomplish their daily tasks. Ehrmann expects its em- ployees to show independent initiative and supports them in their efforts to implement our common goals. Our employees are our most valuable resource for the long-term success of the company The hard work, creativity and reliability of our motivated and qualified staff make a key contribution towards the success of the company and what makes success pos- sible in the first place. Therefore, we must do our ut- most to ensure that employees are committed to the company through their contribution and that they are supported in this respect.
