Ehrmann Verhaltenskodex

18 Inappropriate gifts, gratuities and invitations As a matter of principle, it is not allowed to offer or accept gifts, gratuities or invitations that could even potentially influence a business decision. It is only per- mitted to offer and accept gifts and gratuities that do not risk influencing business decisions if this ethically corresponds to typically justifiable business practices and does not violate any enforceable laws. If there is any doubt, this must be discussed with the superior. Trade secrets and third-party intellectual property rights We respect trade secrets and shall not knowingly violate any third-party’s intellectual property rights or other such protected third-party information. 2.4 The relationship to consumers Our success is based on the fact that we are able to recognize consumers’ needs and preferences and to accommodate these with the right products and brands. The consumers’ ever-changing needs are tracked through constant dialogue with customers and always taken into consideration when developing products and brands. It is crucial and considered self-evident that the prod- ucts and services offered by Ehrmann always meet the highest quality standards. Therefore all Ehrmann employees are obligated to re- port immediately to the superior or the quality depart- ment any problems or deviations they have observed regarding the quality of products or services. Should consumers or customers express their dissatis- faction, we shall address the problem immediately, in an unbiased and professional manner, and shall make every effort to safeguard and, if necessary, regain the trust they placed in us by communicating promptly and solving problems jointly.
